PsTools

Now and again, a big problem can be solved with a small utility. That is the idea behind this complete suite of small utilities that have in mind making any administrators job easier. By using the PsTools it will be very easy to gather a lot of information about any computer in a local net.

  Some of the tools that we will find in PsTools are: PsExec to launch processes remotely, the PsFile viewer for files open remotely, PsInfo, that shows information about the system (including how long it has been turned on), PsKill that stops processes without any problems, PsList to obtain detailed information about the processes or PsLoggedOn to know who is using the computer among other utilities.

  You can even find security utilities, like PsPasswd, that allows to change the passwords.
